Is a native of Bahia, the first home of Samba. She is a former Oba Oba dancer. She has performed on Broadway and at Wolftrap as well as the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Jamaica carnival, San Diego carnival, and in Quebec, Montreal, Toronto and many theaters in the U.S.
Sonia has been dancing professionally and teaching the art and magic of Samba
for 7 years. What makes her so special is the total involvement of her heart,
mind, body and soul.
